Dorothy G. Dickinson

Born in Goochland County, Virginia on October 5, 1921, Dorothy was a daughter of the late John and Jennie Nicholas Guerrant and was employed in the bookkeeping department of Ivey’s.

Preceding her in death was her husband, William S. Dickinson.

Survivors include four children, John Dickinson and his wife, Carol T. of Matthews, NC, Thomas Dickinson and his wife, Katherine R. of Charlotte, NC, Nancy Brooks and her husband, Kinney of Matthews, NC and Donna Dickinson of Greenville, SC.

Other survivors include seven grandchildren, Allison Khan, Elizabeth R. Dickinson, Gregory T. Dickinson, Charles Brooks, Nicholas Brooks, William Boyle and Grady Boyle along with one great grandson, Edison Khan.

Funeral services are planned for 2:00 pm Monday, March 3, 2014 at McEwen Derita Chapel. Friends may visit Monday at the funeral home from noon to 2:00 pm.
