She and her husband Arthur resided with their son and daughter-in-law in Fort Mill, South Carolina. She was born on August 30, 1924 in Gibbon Glade, Pennsylvania to Ralph and Bertha Mae Savage.
Dorothy, a loving wife for 78 years was also a compassionate mother, benevolent friend, doting grandmother, and great grandmother. She embraced life with grace, happiness and deep concern for the well being of others.
She is survived by her husband Arthur McGann, two sons; Richard and Michael, their wives Jane and Deborah respectively, grandchildren Douglas and Shannon and great grandchildren, Kieran and Christian. She was always a source of quick wit and a bright ray of sunshine in all of their lives......she will be greatly missed.
A memorial service will take place in Connellsville, Pennsylvania at a future date yet to be determined.
