Dear Cousins,

I was trying to find Joanne's new address on line and I found Dot's obituary. I am so sorry to get this news. I was trying to get her address to send her Christmas gift. I have such loving memories of her and all of you guys. I remember the summer vacation that Grandma Price and I spent at Ft. Monroe and all the visits your family made to King George. My sincere sympahty to everyone of you. The last time I talked with Dot she was still raving about each and everyone of you...her family was the light of her life.

Please contact me at 540-775-7879 or so I can keep up with you and hopefully visit sometime.

Love to all, Betty

The Pence Gang,
The service was very moving, it was great to hear so much more about Dot then I every knew and from someone that knew her. Sorry I have not been more a part of your lives, however, it was great to see how everyone grew up and grew older (with the rest of us) maybe that was grayer? I hope and pray that the example Dot gave us will be the example for us all to live by. My best to Marty, Greg, Jenny and "little" Steven, and the best dance partner and friend I ever had. Thanks for the memories.

as ever, Tom Applegate

Dotty, was one of the most beautiful, loving, giving person I have ever know. She and Martin were already friends with my husband Bill when I met him. She fast became a friend of mine. She was a huge part of our engagement and marriage. We were married in her church and our son was baptized there with her standing up with us. To her children whom she loved so dearly, may God give you comfort.Your mom will always have a huge place in my heart.
