Dorothy E Reuss

She was born June 17, 1928 in Brooklyn, NY to John and Elizabeth Bradley. Dorothy was one of five Bradley children who remained close throughout their lifetimes.

Dorothy attended Bishop McDonnell High School and Worked for several years as a dental assistant before marrying the love of her life, Conrad. Dorothy and Conrad, along with their four children - and Nana Reuss, lived in New York, Montana and Connecticut before settling in Charlotte in 1966. Dorothy worked as the St. Vincent de Paul Parish Office Manager for over three decades.

She was predeceased by her husband Connie and grandson Paul. Dorothy is survived by her sister Margie Bradley; her children and their spouses Greg (Diana), Patty Carpenter (Rick), Marianne Prophet (Floyd), Sharon Reuss (Berry McMurray); her grandchildren and their spouses Meredith Beaty (Jerimy), Michael Prophet (Carlos Medina), Addison Prophet, Sarah Perry (Phil), Alexander Carpenter; her great grandchildren Emma, Matt and London; and close family friend Joan Byrne Valalik.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: St. Vincent de Paul Society or Hospice and Palliative Care - Charlotte Region.

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 11 am, St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 6828 Old Reid Rd., Charlotte, NC 28210. The family will host a reception and receive friends after the mass in the church activity center.
