ED WAS A DEAR FRIEND AND BUDDY FOR 65 YEARS.
WE GREW UP TOGETHER GOING TO BOY SCOUTS,WATERSKIING,AND PLAYING BASKETBALL ALMOST EVERY DAY.
IN OUR MID LIFE WE WERE A DOUBLES TENNIS TEAM FOR YEARS IN TEGA CAY AND PLAYED ENDLESS HOURS IN GOOD WEATHER,COLD,AND EVEN SNOW.I MIGHT ADD,ED HAD A WICKED FORE HAND AND SERVE.
IN OUR LATER YEARS WE ENJOYED LUNCH TOGETHER USUALLY AT TRIOS,AND SOLVED THE WORLD,S PROBLEMS AND SOMETIMES OURS.WE WERE KNOW AT TRIOS AS THE BURGER BOYS AND DIDN,T NEED MENUES.
WHEN ED WAS HEALTHY,HE WOULD DO ANYTHING FOR YOU,NO QUESTIONS ASKED.HE HELPED ME BUILD A DOCK AND EVEN HELPED ME MOVE INTO MY CURRENT HOME.GUESS HE SHOULD HAVE ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT THOSE TWO REQUESTS WERE BACK BREAKERS.
ED,MY OLD FRIEND,YOU WEREN,T SUPPOSE TO LEAVE ME,BUT I KNOW YOU HAVE GONE TO A BETTER PLACE WITH NO PAIN.
SEE YOU SOME DAY!

Ed was part of our 3 person+ old persons group at Jack N Box and McDs.
He spoke often of his 4 children, loved them all, worried about them too.
I WILL MISS HIM AND HIS E-MAILS.

I am the sister-in-law that Lee mentioned when I was visiting Charlotte I would join the group for breakfast before Lee and I went on our adventures for the day. Ed was an nice man and we had some lively discussions as I remember. One time I was so mad that it brought me to tears!! I know he felt bad about that and I forgave him. I am so sad for the family and I know he was one of Lee favorite friends!
