Edna Hilton passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2017. She was born on September 10, 1916 in Mecklenburg County. She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Gaither (Pete) Hilton. Edna is survived by her son, Burt Hilton, his life partner, Joni Runyan; granddaughter, Jessica LeValley, and three great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held for the family on Monday, May 8, 2017 at 11:00am at Forest Lawn West Cemetery. A memorial service will follow at 1:00pm at Avondale Presbyterian Church; Dr. John Earl officiating.
