Eduardo D Torres

Eduardo D. Torres, 87, of Charlotte, passed away June 3, 2020. Born November 16, 19321in Los Dolores, Mexico; he was the son of Eduardo and Esperanza (Del Rio) Torres. He married Maria E. Torres on November 23, 1961 in Ixtlan De Los Hevores.

A farmer for many years in Mexico and the United State, Eduardo enjoyed watching the news, taking naps and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Maria Torres; children, Daniel (Patricia) Torres, Celia (Filiberto) Alvarez, Sara (Javier) Silva, Marina (Louis) Silva, Eduardo (Adriana) Torres and Roberto (Maricela) Torres; sister, Josefina Tamayo; 18 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Oscar Torres; brothers, Vicente and Daniel Torres.

Funeral Service 1 p.m. Saturday, June 13, 2020 at Forest Lawn West Funeral & Cremation Service, 4601 Freedom Dr., Charlotte, NC. Visitation 11 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
