Thoughts and prayers to the family at this difficult time.  Eddie was a joy to be around.  I enjoyed the many conversations we had about motorcycles while at Wachovia.

Dottie, I am so very sorry to hear of your loss.  Eddie was such a warm happy person.  Even now, thinking about him makes me smile with pleasant memories.  I so enjoyed working with him and even when we no longer worked together my day was happier whenever I ran into him.  Please know that you and your family will be in my heart, thoughts and prayers.

I worked with Eddie for as long as I can remember at First Union / Wachovia / Wells Fargo - I did not work directly with him most of that time, though, and therefore I was always grateful for every chance encounter I had with him. He was a kind man, through and through, and was always smiling - always. Even on the phone his kind spirit came through and you knew he was smiling. We shared some great conversations over the years. He also lived near me for many years and we would run into each other in the neighborhood - I missed that when he moved to Stanley.
Reading about Eddie now, it is clear to me that there is much more to Eddie than I ever knew, but yet I am not surprised that he was so involved and helped so many. He should be considered an inspiration and role model for us all.

Dottie, I was very saddened to hear of your and your family's loss.  I have great memories of Eddie from our First Union days.  He always had a smile on his face, and a calming manner to whatever I was stressing about.  Maryellen and I will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

I got to know Eddie from Wachovia as part of our Native Employee Resource Network.  He was always a delight to talk to.  I never got to meet him face to face since I am in PA, but I felt I knew him forever with just the short times we talked.  My heart and prayers go out to his family. My deepest condolences,  I worked with Eddie through Wachovia's Native Team Member Network.  He was always so supportive, had great spirit and a wonderful voice.  He will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.

Eddie was one of the first people that I met when I started at First Union in 1995. I, like everyone else, was drawn to his friendliness, kindness and joy of life. I used to enjoy hearing stories about the family which he was so proud of. He will be missed. My prayers go out to your family.

I was truely grieved to read about Eddie on face book a few minutes ago, and I would like to take this moment to offer my condolences to all of his Family, and to his Band members who worked with this dedicated "Blues Singer", and song writer.

Although I hadn't seen Eddie for many years, I remember our days at the First Union Plaza when he worked security there.  He was a great guy then and I know he will be missed by many.  My condolences to his family & friends.  God bless you all!
