It’s been many years since Ive seen you and I’m just now hearing of this! I’m sorry you’re no loner with us. I’m remember all the frustrations of Local union 28. I asked about you through our former fo worker Pauline Sealy. I just bought a house 3 years ago in Charlotte and plan to move there when I retire. My sympathy  to the family. My heart is heavy right now. What a good guy!!! Sorry I missed you and see you on the other side!

Met Eddie summer of 1984, we lived on the same street in Queens, NY.  As I sat here thinking about my past, he came to mind. I decided to google his name and to surprise I found an obituary. My condolences to his family. It sadden my heart to know that you are gone. Years has gone by, but I do remember you, that wonderful smile, the summers when you, my cousins and the rest of the fellows on the block used to play stick ball, football and break dance. You were always a neat dresser. Pants well ironed and shirt always tucked in.  Good memories Eddie...RIP..Never will be forgotten . Mo

Tonja (my big sister) I pray & I believe GOD will keep you all in HIS perfect peace in the midst of your sorrows now & always.  I was in my late teens when I met Eddie, you all were truly a team; in which I admired.  I can attest that not only was he  was a "stand up type of man"; he was a very loving father, husband and uncle. He had a big heart, smile and a wealth of knowledge when it came to pep talks. He represented the true meaning of an exceptional husband and father.  The way he took special care of you even when he was a younger man, the love he had for you, Naadira &  Qua was not only undeniable but immeasurable.  His self-less acts, I never seen him complain, all I saw was a big smile, heart and will-power.  I remember he'd say I am going to get Tonja this and that everything was for you & the kids.  I am grateful that God allowed  us to be family and for the seasons we spent together they were not in vain. I learned from the both of you, especially loyalty, parenting , discipline, accomplishments & family values.  I will never forget Eddie's dedication & welcoming spirit.  Even to think of all his husband /fatherly duties he would make time to welcome us over for visits, dinners and  allow his nieces to spend days & nights; wearing & mastering many hats while humbly caring for his family.  Tonja God gave you all the best when HE united you two! Eddie will forever live as long as you have a heart & memories, for he is with you in spirit.  My prayers won't cease. We love you! 

Eddie, I can't even count how many of my birthdays I celebrated with you and Tonja...you always welcomed us and that is something we will always cherish.

I am so glad I was able to Celebrate you on your 50th! 

Your presence on Earth will be missed by family and friends.

Tonja & I have been Friends for 41 years,  she is basically my Sister. As with any Brother, we raise an eyebrow when a Man comes into our Sister's lives. But I must say, Eddie was a Man that any Brother  would pray their Sister would marry. The marriage vow that says "For Better Or For Worse" should be named after Eddie. When Tonja started fighting for her life with Her heath battles, Eddie stood tall when most Men wouldn't have been strong enough to deal with that. At that moment is when I considered him my Brother & I knew that Tonja would be in good hands forever. A great Husband & Father called home too soon. We tend to take great people for granted because we are used to them being great. But when they're gone is when we realize how great they truly are, because that normalcy of greatness has been taken away from us. Eddie, you have truly touched every one of us in a positive way & you have showed us all how to be great. Rest In Peace

Man man man still in shock. My brother Eddie was a great man I am blessed to be able to converse with him this year a couple of time. Naa U we started that in 2002 my brother Hustle fueled my Hustle I will always be grateful for all he has done to assist myself and my DJ brothers. Gone never forgotten he died ironically the same day I lost my father and on my father's birthday so the 26 will always be rememberable. To the kids Q and Nadi time heals all wounds they say will take much time but I am here whenever however you need me. Tonja sis you know my body YOU NEED ANYTHING in your time of need DaGod will always be available. Naa U forever 💓

Going from crazy kids, running the streets in the Bronx & Queens, to seeing him become this wonderful husband & father was such a joy to me.  His amazing kids are a real testament to the kind of dad he was.  
I loved being his sister & there will be a hole in my heart for the rest of my life.  Rest easy little brother, I love you so much.

Eddie loved fishing. He and my husband  Jerome often went together. We ate fish for days. Eddie smiled a lot when he was doing it. I will miss his smile.

With a heavy heart I share these memories and condolences  about my dearly departed  friend, Eddie. I met his then 7 year old son before I had the pleasure of meeting him. Lil Que (Eddie’s son) showed up at my door about 19 years ago looking for my son. Lil Que was wearing a two-way radio and had a cell phone clipped on his pants, sounding totally like a little adult with a New York accent. At that moment I knew he had great parents and I set out to meet them. Eddie and I met and became fast friends. My son gravitated towards Eddie because they shared common interest in fishing and wildlife, and his son was very passionate about automobiles and we shared common interest, too. Some weekends we would literally swap sons. Que would be doing the car shop things with me and my son would be someplace fishing with Eddie. I’m so glad that we met and became friends and our families will remain friends! I would like to extend to the family, a shoulder to lean on during these tough times as I know he would for mine. 

I’m missing you already, Eddie!

My brother Eddie was my buddy, my friend.  
Our families integrated when he was 4 and I was 5, we became close, immediately.   We were always together, in all kinds of mischief as kids, to double dates as teenagers, to starting our own families... and continuing on the legacy of our parents, with all the close family events. 
I am going to miss him beyond words... those family events will never be the same, again. 
I love you Eddie, and I'll miss you forever.

Mr. B was a beautiful person and I am deeply saddened to hear of his passing. Teaching across the hall from him will forever bring back warm memories of the kind and compassionate person he was. I will forever be grateful for Mr. B’s commitment and passion for the scholars and staff of Ranson IB. Year after year, I could depend on him to join our team and go above and beyond. He was a wonderful co-worker and man. May God provide you with peace and comfort during this difficult time, knowing the many lives he touched. 

Mr. B was such an amazing coworker and friend.  There were so many times he helped me through some tough moments.  What I remember most is how funny he was- the kids loved that too.  I’m so glad I had the opportunity to know him.

I am deeply saddened by the loss of Mr B. He was a wonderful coworker and dear friend for many years. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
