Elizabeth Anne Boland Butler

Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 9th at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, where she was a long-time member, with visitation at the church for one hour prior. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Harry & Bryant Funeral Home is in charge.

A native of Burlington, Mrs. Butler managed the business affairs for Butler Animal Hospitals for the entirety of its over 30 years of service to the Charlotte community. She was a member of the West Gate Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, where she had served as Worthy Matron. Mrs. Butler attended Meredith College on music scholarship, and made it her priority to pass her love of music and her musicianship on to her son.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Dr. Bobbie Joe Butler, her son, Robert J. Butler of Elkhart, Indiana, and his wife April L. Sellers.
