Mrs. Bowen, 91, a Charlotte native, passed away Thursday, December 18, 2014.
Betty is survived by her sister Ann Shaver, her grandsons Paul Bowen and wife Angela, Phillip Bowen and wife Michelle, and great-grandson Daniel James Bowen.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at noon, at McEwen Pineville Chapel, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
