

Lib Cook, 95, of Pineville passed away Friday, March 18, 2011. She was born on January 4, 1916, in Pineville to the late Clyde and Bessie Crump. Lib retired from Cone Mills after 45 years of service. She was a lifelong member of Stough Memorial Baptist Church where she taught 4 year old Sunday School for many years. She was also very active in church missions. After retirement, she won numerous awards in Senior Olympics.
Lib is preceded in death by her husband, William Cook; brothers, McLean Crump, and John T. Crump and her sister Margaret Crump Harkey.
Lib is survived by her children, Gene (Frankie) Cook of Indian Land, SC, Joann Mills of North Myrtle Beach, SC, and Linda Rembert of Hilton Head, SC; her grandchildren Cindy Colosimo, Kathy Cook Campbell, Tara Bruce, Scott Cook and Stacy Cook, Pam Stoess, Jim Mills, Bill Rembert, John Rembert; her great-grandchildren, Katie and Lisa Colosimo; Sawyer Lee; Moriah Brashear, Damaris and Isaac Bruce; Heather, Michael, Syndi and Craig Cook; Payton and Parker Mills; Philip and Richard Rembert; and Reagan and Anslie Rembert.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 pm Sunday, March 20, 2011 at Flint Hill Baptist Church in Fort Mill, SC. The service will be led by Dr. Roger Crump and Pastor Rodney Cripps.
