Elliott Michael O’ Bryan, age 44, of Charlotte passed away Friday, March 8, 2013 at Presbyterian Matthews Hospital.
He was born June 13, 1968 in Queens, New York the son of Elton O’Bryan, Sr. and Elizabeth Smith O’Bryan.
Elliott enjoyed watching movies, cars, and sports; he especially loved his New York Giants and the Miami Heat. He had a larger than life sense of humor and was deeply devoted to his family and will be missed by all.
He is survived by his loving wife, Rachel Hoskins O’Bryan; daughter, Jessica O’Bryan; son, Chad Hoskins; parents, Elton O’Bryan, Sr. and Elizabeth O’Bryan; brothers, Elton O’Bryan, Jr. and wife Jennifer and Edward Eric O’Bryan; uncles, Lester O’ Bryan and James Blackwell; aunts, Sarah Smith, Audrey O’Bryan and Hazel Blackwell; nephew and nieces. He is preceded in death by his grandmothers, Mae Smith and Louise O’Bryan aka “Wizzie” and canine companion of eighteen years, Scooby.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, March 15, 2013 at McEwen Funeral Service, 5716 Monroe Road, Charlotte, NC 28212.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
