Aunt Eufleen was a wonderful person.  She was
so welcoming to Linda and me when we moved to
Charlotte.

Today is the anniversary of my daddy's birthday. I certainly am thinking about family today. 

Roscoe Edison Elkins was the husband of Lillian Hayes Elkins, who was a sister of Norman Wade Hayes, the husband of Aunt Eufleen.

Anne Marie and I have such fond memories of Aunt Eufleen. We always enjoyed seeing her. She always had interesting things to talk about and was a joy to be with.

You make me stand tall and you make me see further;
You make me reach with only my heart.
But now you're not here and the pain in these prayers 
threatens to tear me apart. Thank you for guidance beyond words.... You made me know God is real. Sing to the Lord a new song....peace to your family.

Mrs.Hayes was a very special lady. Always enjoyed our Wednesday night meals (her day off from work) in the 1980s. Dickie is such a great guy. Thoughts and prayers.
