Eunice Stanton Elliott

Born on July 10 1937 to Thomas and Eunice Myrtle Davis Stanton in Florence, SC, Eunice received Christ as her Savior in 1944 and was baptized in the Holy Spirit in 1949 and later baptized in water in 1957.

Eunice first attended First Assembly of God on Eastway Drive and then officially joined Northlake AG (then Evangel Temple Assembly of God) on May 10, 1998. She previously attended with her parents and then later on with her children Billy, Sherry, Marla and Tommy.

A lover of elephants, Eunice also had a soft spot in her heart for all the neighborhood dogs who lived around her.

Left to mourn her loss are her devoted children William. Cheryl, Marla and Thomas (Kristi); loving sister Elizabeth Simpson; adored grandchildren Steven (Marcie), Benjamin (Sara) and Amber and four precious great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Myrtle.

The family will greet friends starting at 1pm on Saturday April 6, 2024 at McEwen Funeral Service located at 5716 Monroe Road in Charlotte. Funeral is scheduled in the McEwen Chapel at 2pm with burial immediately following at Sharon Memorial Park.
