Eva Mae Jones, 82, of Charlotte, died Thursday, July 28, 2011 at Levine and Dickson Hospice House. She was born on March 24, 1929 in Cabarrus County and raised by grandparents Charlie and Lula Morrison.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harrell C. Jones, Sr.
Surviving are her children, Harrell Jones, Jr. and wife, Thomasina, Diann McClain, Delores J. Hoover and husband, Ziggy. Five brothers, six sisters. Grandchildren, James, Martha, Tammy, Rashanda, Curtis, Antonio, Cindy and Willie. Fourteen great grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at Forest Lawn West Chapel with the Reverend Joseph C. Jones officiating. Interment will follow the service in Forest Lawn West Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
