Evelyn Hepler, age 88 of Charlotte, passed away Sunday February 17, 2013 at Wilora Lake Health Care. She was born in Mecklenburg County on August 17, 1924 and was a member of Hickory Grove United Methodist Church. A service to celebrate the life of Evelyn S. Hepler will be 12:00 P. M. Tuesday February 19, 2013, at McEwen Funeral Service Charlotte Chapel, 5716 Monroe Road, Charlotte, NC 28212. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Sharon Memorial Park. Surviving are her son, James C. Hepler (Gloria) of Huntersville; daughter, Rebecca Sue Hepler of Charlotte; a brother, Coy Shue, of Charlotte; three grandsons, Wesley (JoAnn) Hepler, Shane Hepler and Shelby (Lindsay) Hepler; and five great-grandchildren.
