Everlean Wilson Everett

She was born on the 4th of May, 1939 in Gaston County, North Carolina to the late Mary Josephine Wilson and George Barnett. Mrs. Everett was a dedicated member of University Church of Christ in Charlotte.

The family will greet friends from 1:30 PM until the funeral hour at 2:00 PM on Saturday, the 6th of September, 2025 in the Chapel of McEwen Funeral Service at Forest Lawn West. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn West Cemetery.

Everlean is survived by her husband, Troy V. Everett; her three daughters: Rita Coleman Miller, Vanessa Coleman Stinson and Sharon Coleman Morrison all of Charlotte, NC; her four grandchildren: Detra M. Campbell-Alexander, Dwight T. Coleman-Rameur, Jeremy J. Bertry and Michael Arnez Stinson; three sisters: Joslin G. Barnett, Cathy Moore and Elise Barnett and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Along with her family she loved her four legged children: Suzie-Q, Burno and Zeus.
