Frances Elizabeth French

Mrs. French, age 89, of Stallings, died Monday, October 4, 2011 at her home. Born February 12, 1922 in Bardwell, KY, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd L. Unsell and Pearl Wallace Unsell. She retired in 1983 from Chesapeake Paper Company after 14 years of service.

The service to celebrate her life will be held 3:00 PM Friday, October 7, 2011 from the graveside at Sunset Memory Gardens.

Survivors include a daughter, Linda Carter and her husband, Jeff, of Stallings; son-in-law, Norman Dale Edwards and his wife, Carol; four grandchildren, Norman Dale Edwards, Jr., Christopher Todd Harmon, Crystal Edwards Reid and Carrie Larissa Harmon, who lovingly helped take care of her grandmother before and during her illness; five great grandchildren; and a great-great granddaughter. In addition to her parents, Mrs. French was preceded in death by her husband, Wilton; son, Glenn Edward French; daughter, Brenda Unsell Edwards; and two brothers, Leroy Unsell and Jay Unsell.

The family wishes to thank Presbyterian Hospice for their compassionate care during this difficult time.
