Frances was born on May 23, 1931, in Charlotte, North Carolina to the late Frank and Margaret Rohleder. She graduated Harding High School in 1949 and immediately entered the workforce with Travelers Insurance Company. She remained in that role for 44 years.
She married the love of her life, Joseph Taylor and together, they shared many years of happiness. Frances loved to travel and was always dedicated to her family and loved ones. She loved to cook and sew, and was always willing to give a helping hand when needed. She was a proud and active member of First Presbyterian Church in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Frances was a kind and loving soul who made a positive impact on those she loved most. She will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents, Frances was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Taylor, and her sister, Ann LeGrand.
She is survived by her sister, Mary Lou Christenbury of Charlotte, North Carolina; brother, Frank E. Rohleder, Jr. of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service for Frances will be held Saturday, August 16, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Wilson Funeral & Cremation Service, 5301 Albemarle Road, Charlotte, NC 28212.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Frances' honor to First Presbyterian Church's TV Ministry or Via Health Partners.
