Frank (Tamp) left us entirely too soon on July 29th 2022. He was a very kind soul and was thought very highly of by both his friends and family. He was incredibly intelligent, and worked hard to attain his master's degree in marriage and family therapy from Pfeiffer University in 2017.
Frank had a lot of joy in online gaming with a group that was literally worldwide. Even though he had not met with them in person, everyone who reached out from that group all said the same thing. "Tamp was one of the kindest, most authentic, down to earth people you could ever hope to meet. He devoted his life and his work to helping others and making a difference in the world. He was helpful, and very supportive." (And he succeeded in making that difference in many lives.)
The fact of the matter is that every single person who reached out reiterated that same sentiment which is a testament to the character of the man. He loved his dog Rugby and spent much of his free time with him out in the yard playing and taking exercise. It was all about the simple things for him. Frank left us way too soon and we are all lessened by his passing. He was a very good human being and he will be missed.
Left to mourn Frank’s loss is his brother John Capes, cousins Robb Cass, Liz Stafford, Ryan Beauchamp, Laura Skvoretz, Bradley Michael Green, Ken Green, Mike Green, Sydney Caroline Cass and a very long list of friends and extended family who will miss Frank dearly.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents Sandra Green Tamplin and Frank H. Tamplin, Sr and beloved aunt Carol Green Cass.
A memorial service is scheduled for Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at 3pm at McEwen Funeral Service located at 5716 Monroe Road in Charlotte.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in the memory of Tamp and his beloved dog, Rugby to the A.S.P.C.A. (www.aspca.org).
