Fransouhi Sarkissian

Fransouhi Sarkissian ,Charlotte, NC, age 85, passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2015, at Pineville Rehabilitation and Living Center, after a year of declining health.

She was born on July 14, 1930 in Damascus, Syria, the daughter of late Karnig and Zarouhi Seraydarian. At a very young age her family moved to Beirut Lebanon. She is predeceased by her husband Diran Sarkissian. She was a dedicated homemaker, loved to sew, do embroidery, cook and bake. She relocated to the US in 2003, living with her son and daughter-in-law.

The wake will be held at 12:00 pm followed by the funeral service at 1 pm on Tuesday, October 13 at St. Sarkis Armenian Church, 7000 Park Road, Charlotte ; internment at Evergreen Cemetery.

Fransouhi loved her family: she was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother; she loved her Church and attended regularly. She is survived by her son, Hagop Sarkissian and wife Noelle Sarkissian; granddaughter Talin and her husband Raffi Chamoun; grandson Diran H. and his wife Sarin; sister Nevart Andonian; and she was the great grandmother of Emma, Alyssia and Ari Sarkissian.
