

Born on February 12, 1945 in Charlotte, North Carolina, Fredrick lived a life defined by generosity, kindness, and dedication to those he loved. He was the son of Bruce and Maver Johnson, and from an early age, he developed a strong work ethic and a deep appreciation for family and community.
Fredrick spent much of his life working as a Financial Advisor where he was respected for his dedication and humanitarianism. Beyond his career, he was known for his friendliness leaving a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
He found joy in playing golf, attending many Master's tournaments, a day at the beach and shagging on the boulevard. Whether quiet moments or lively gatherings, he enjoyed his family and friends. Fredrick’s presence brought warmth and comfort to those around him.
He is survived by his daughters Wendy (Derek) Loftin, Patty (Michael) Druzbik; brothers Richard Johnson and Jim Johnson; grandchildren Nicolas Valdivieso, Tyler, Christian and Crew Druzbik; great granddaughter Mia Valdivieso.
A visitation will take place at McEwen Funeral Service, 5716 Monroe Road, Charlotte beginning at 2pm on May 1, 2026. A graveside service will follow at Sharon Memorial Park at 3pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to heart.org or diabetes.org reflecting his values and passions.
Fredrick Harry Johnson will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
