I met Garth and the family way back around 1986 when my family moved down the street. I was only in the 7th grade. Garth and I became friends and hung out a lot growing up doing kid stuff and having fun.  As we grew up and moved away I’ve never forgotten about Garth.  I will always know Garth as one of my friends and will remember our times together forever.  My prayers are with you my friend and for the family.

Garth and Sheryl actually saved my life back in 1999 and they mean everything and more to me and my family. 
I met Garth in 1997 working at CompUSA where we got extremely close and were even  roommates for a time. My heart breaks at the thought of a world without the unique GAB around to make it better for those around him. 
I last saw Garth back before he moved out west.  I would give almost anything to see him again.  I still cannot wrap my head around the fact that he’s gone. And I’ll carry the part of his heart that he gave me for the rest life. RIP GAB

I met Garth when we were in middle school at Sun Valley and he immediately created a place in my heart.  We remained close throughout high school and throughout our adult lives.  He was someone I could always confide in, he had a calming presence and I always felt at ease around him. He was so eager to make people laugh and Garth had a ridiculously contagious smile that disarmed people. It was hard to be too serious or upset around him. He was generous, forgiving and kind, nurturing and silly, and highly intelligent in the cognitive, intuitive, and emotional sense. This seemed rare to me—very few people can be all these things at once but he pulled it off in the most natural way. Garth will be so missed and will always take up space in my heart, never to be forgotten. I’m thinking of his family, who he spoke of often and loved dearly.  

Sending our deepest condolences to you and to your family! We'll never forget the big heart and awesome attitude from Garth, that had a made big difference in our lives.  He'll be deeply missed, and will always be in our hearts!
