I knew Gay years ago when she lived across the street from my family. She was half-way in age between me and my mother -- and we were both good friends with her! She was always such a sweet person and so much fun! Wish I had known she was on facebook -- would have loved to renew our friendship. God bless all of you!

Your mom was one "cool chick" and I greatly enjoyed having her as a neighbor. She had a big old heart but didn't suffer fools easily either. Perfect combination. She will be missed.

Shannon & Joni, you're mom was a firecracker and her biggest legacy is the 2 of you. You both embody her spirit and determination and she couldn't have been more proud of either of you. Gay was a lovely woman who was so proud of her family. It was a joy working with her at Morrison Regional Library, where she set a high standard for fashion, kindness and humor.
