Mr. Wright, age 48, of Fort Mill, SC, passed on to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 after experiencing coronary heart failure. He was born on January 22, 1966, the youngest of 5 children, to the late Geraldine Cook Wright and Gene Crawford Wright.
He was a good man and a great father who was never shy to lend a hand to a friend or neighbor and who lived life to the fullest, always bringing a smile to all those who knew him.
Survivors include his two daughters, Courtney Wright of Charlotte, NC and Jessica Wright of Waxhaw, NC: two sisters, Belinda Wright Blake of Greensboro, NC and Windy Wright Clark of Conway, SC; two brothers, Tim Wright of Charlotte, NC and Charles Wright of Conway, SC, as well as five nieces, two nephews and one great aunt, Etheline Cook Dabbs, of Conway, SC.
His family will receive friends and loved ones on Sunday, August 3, 2014, from 2-3 p.m. at the McEwen-Pineville Chapel, 10500 Park Road, Charlotte, NC. His service will follow at 3:00 p.m. with a private burial at the Waxhaw Cemetery.
His smile and laughter will be greatly missed.
