

Georgia Bartlett Sadler, age 97 of Charlotte passed away March 28, 2012. A visitation will be from 11:30-12:30 Saturday with a service to celebrate her life to begin at 12:30 PM in the chapel of Forest Lawn West Funeral Home, Reverends Chris Carrasco and Chris Westmoreland officiating. Interment will be in Forest Lawn West Cemetery.
Mrs. Sadler was born in Charlotte February 19, 1915 daughter of the late George Edward and Sadie Baker Bartlett. She was a member of Mulberry Presbyterian Church where she taught Sunday School, served as President of the Women of the Church and Circle Chairman. Mrs. Sadler was a graduate of Long Creek High School and a Cosmetology School and served as a floor secretary for Presbyterian Hospital. She also had served as President of the P. T. A. at West Mecklenburg High School and had operated a Beauty Salon from her home many years.
Surviving are: daughters, Ann Sadler Watts (Ernest) of Huntersville, NC and Mary Sadler Blythe(Rolland) of Chapin, SC and a son, Edward Rhyne Sadler (Kim) of Suffolk, Va.
Grandchildren: Scott Watts (Sherri) of Mooresville, NC, Christopher Watts (Tonya) of Indian Trail, NC, Michelle Fryer (Mark) and Angela Norris of Chapin, SC, Ashlee Vickery (Kevin) of Columbia, SC, Rolland Lee Blythe III of Chapin, SC, Kristin Sadler of St. Louis, Mo., Lauren Riddle (Joe) of Virginia Beach, Va. and Megan Carr (Scott) of Suffolk, Va., great grandchildren, Kaitlynn, Devan, Jordan, Jensen, Greyson, Benjamin, Lauren, Banks, Shelby, Taylor, Blythe, and McKenzie. Grace, Lee. Webb and Ella. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, George Rhyne Sadler and a great granddaughter, Bailey Watts.
