Gerry Dunn, 94, of Charlotte, passed away peacefully on Monday, February, 7, 2011 at her residence surrounded by her family. She will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to all that knew her.
She was born in New Orleans, LA on June 11, 1916. She lived her life with dignity and a great love for the Lord Jesus Christ. Gerry loved her family, had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to laugh.
Survivors include her son, Charles H Dunn Jr. and his wife Connie of Charlotte, NC; two grandsons Charles H. Dunn III and his wife Abby of Raleigh, NC and Jonathan Christopher Dunn of Charlotte; one great grandchild Brooklyn Sophia Dunn.
A private service will be held on Sunday, February, 13, 2011 with her grandson, Rev. Charlie Dunn, conducting the service. McEwen Funeral Service Pineville Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences can be made at www.mcewenpinevillechapel.com.
