Mr. Giron, age 60, died Sunday, December 26, 2010 at Carolinas Medical Center - Main. Born April 7, 1950 in the Philippines, he was a son of the late Augusto A. Giron, Sr. and Telesfora Valdez Buyao Giron.
Mr. Giron served in the U.S. Navy and was a retired cook.
The service to celebrate the life of Godofredo B. Giron will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, December 29, 2010 in the Chapel of Wilson Funeral Service. The family will receive friends 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Enriquita Acuario Giron; sons, Nelson and Marlon; daughters, Eden and Rose Marie; precious grandson, James; son-in-law, Mark; and daughter-in-law, Benjielee.
