Mr. Shuffler was born in Morganton, NC a son of the late Gordon B. Shuffler Sr. and Elizabeth A. Terry.
He is survived by his wife Cindy, 2 sons and 4 daughters: Gene Shuffler (Tanya), Robin Shuffler (Michelle), Dottie Shuffler (Mike), Crystal Albea, Candy Grantham, Casey Massey; 16 grandchildren & 7 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers of Morganton, NC, Ralph Shuffler (Ann), William Shuffler (Carolyn), Roy Shuffler; 2 sisters of Morganton, NC, Mary Hogan (Dennis), Sissy Metcalf (Johnny).
He was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Shuffler.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 15, 2017 from 6pm-8pm. Celebration of life service will be Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 2pm. Both will be held at Forest Lawn West Funeral & Cremation Service 4601 Freedom Dr. Charlotte, NC 28208.
