He was born May 15, 1953, in Atlanta, GA to the late Milton David and Betty Alberson Williams. Greg graduated from South Mecklenburg High School and Western Carolina University.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Terry; his beloved sons, Matthew and Justin; cherished daughter-in-law, Jennifer; and adored grandson, Nick.
He was predeceased by his sister, Sharon White, and his brother, Alan. He is survived by his sisters Celeste, Laura and Tracy; and his brother, Clark; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Greg will always be remembered for his great sense of humor and being a wonderful husband and dad, granddad and brother.
A rosary will be said at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 1st at McEwen Funeral Home - Pineville Chapel. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 6828 Old Reid Road on Wednesday, October 2nd at 12:00 noon.
