Hank Austin Holden, 31, of Stanley, North Carolina passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2023 in Charlotte. Born July 16, 1992 in Charlotte, he was the son of Jason L. Holden and Kimberly (Hackett) Spain.
He was a graduate of East Gaston High School, class of 2010, where he was a member of the school baseball team. Hank was employed with Sea Sub Systems.
He was an animal lover. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding dirt bikes and anything outdoors. Hank was God and family first, whom he loved deeply. Hank never met a stranger and always made others feel accepted. He had an infectious laugh that would cheer up any room.
He will be truly missed by his family, his cat Wiley and friends.
Survivors include his mother, Kimberly (Tracy) Spain; father, Jason Holden; brothers, Tucker and Sawyer Spain; grandmother, Martha Holden; grandfathers, George Hackett and Andy Spain along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Hank was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Jeanette Hackett; his nana, June Spain and his paternal grandfather, Charles Holden.
