Harry “Ron” Chapman, 85, entered his eternal home on July 19, 2021 at Novant Health Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, NC. He was born on December 25, 1935 in Charlotte, NC to Edna DeHart and Avery Howard Chapman.
He is survived by his daughter, Tina Modabber and her husband, Nader; grandchildren, Ashtyn Modabber, Ashlie Modabber, and Adriana Modabber of CA; and his long-time companion, Ann Hagler.
He is now reunited in Heaven with his loving wife of 30 years, Dianne Chapman.
Ron graduated from West Mecklenburg High School with the class of 1955. Shortly after graduation, he started his own barber shop and was Charlotte’s beloved “Ron the Barber” for over 60 years.
The family will receive guests from 2:00 pm until 3:30 pm on Sunday, July 25, 2021 at Forest Lawn West Funeral & Cremation Service, 4601 Freedom Dr., Charlotte, NC. A funeral service to honor Ron will be held at 3:30 pm in the Paul Helton Chapel at the funeral home. The burial will follow the service in the cemetery.
