She enjoyed spending time with the friends that she had made over the years and most of all she had a deep love for her family. The celebration of her life will take place Thursday, October 7, 2010 at 1:00 PM in Plaza Presbyterian Church 2304 The Plaza Charlotte. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

The family would like to express a warm “Thank You” to the staff of Carrington Place that took such wonderful care of our mother for her final months; and to the nurses of Hospice and Palliative Care Charlotte Region for everything they did to make her transition a little easier.

Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers. I know how hard and difficult this time is. My comforting thought when we lost mom and dad was we are separated only for a short while. Aunt Hazel was such a warm, kind person.
