Howard Featherston

Mercy Hospital. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held Friday, December 5th, 12 Noon at Calvary Baptist Church, Charlotte. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at church.

Steve was born on December 27th, 1943 in Charlotte, NC to the late Howard & Mildred Featherston. He was a printer by trade, an avid camper who loved being outdoors and keeping in touch with his friends on his ham radio. Steve married Judy Ann Strube in 1961, they enjoyed 46 years together and had 2 children. Judy went home to heaven in 2007. Steve and Debbie Hart Lott wedded in 2009 and they spent his remaining years together.

Steve is survived by his wife Debbie Lott-Featherston; son, Steve & Suzanne Featherston, daughter, Annette & Rick Helms; step-son Michael & Angela Lott; 3 sisters, Gloria & Kenneth Stillwell, Suzie & Scott Yow, and Sandy Mosley; 9 grandchildren, Cristin Brandt, Ryan Helms, Gage Helms, Tyler Featherston, Shayna Streur, Brandon Anderson, Jason Lott, Andrew Streur and Seth Streur-Lott; 3 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
