Mrs. Stohrer, age 86, of Charlotte passed away Friday, October 15, 2010.
She was born May 12, 1924 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Robert Davenport and Isabella Lockhart Davenport. She is preceded in death by her husband Richard W. Stohrer.
Mrs. Stohrer furthered her education at Delaware Valley College of Science and Agriculture in Pennsylvania where she graduated with a bachelor degree at age 63.
Surviving are her daughters, Roberta Stohrer Taut of Pineville, NC, Martha Golden and husband Eric of Monroe, NC, and Emma Schechtman and husband Fred of Churchville, PA; grandchildren, Howard Schetchman, Nicole Turner and Vanessa Parton; and great grandchild, Lillian Parton.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, October 22, 2010 at McEwen Pineville Chapel, 10500 Park Road, Charlotte, NC 28210.
