Jackie M. Melton, 86, passed away on April 28, 2021 in Lancaster, SC. She was born on October 28, 1934 to Everett and Clara (McCameron) McAteer. She was married to Charles L. Melton until his passing in 1976.

Jackie was a devoted member of Antioch Baptist Church and loved spending time with the children at the daycare.

Jackie is survived by her children, Carl L. “Cricket” Melton, Robert D. (Dianne) Melton, and Elizabeth (Randy) Harden; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two of her children, Pamela Cook and Sandy Risner.

Per Jackie’s wishes, there will be no services, but memorial donations may be made to Antioch Baptist Church, abclancaster.com/online-giving.
