Oh Jackie, you will be missed. For your smile, your laugh, the twinkle in your eye, the great stories you told, and your wonderful friendship. We remember well those old Surf Inn days when you tended bar, entertained us, and we all had such a good time with such good friends like you. We send our sympathy to your family and wish you all loving memories to keep forever.

Jackie was my mother in law for nearly 15 years this coming April but she’s been in my life for longer. She was more than a mother in law. She was a great friend. We have had so many fun times together. Holidays, parties, Panther tailgating, dinners and just getting together for some wine (or scotch for Jackie) and great conversations and laughs. There’s a void now in my life. Holidays will not be the same. Sunday Panther games having wings at our house won’t be the same. Get togethers with the family will never be the same.
We all love you so much Jackie and will miss you terribly. ❤️☹️

I am so sad to learn of the loss of your mom/grand/sister/aunt and my lifelong friend and kindred spirit. For 70 years we remained the closest of friends. After her family grew, I always enjoyed hearing of her fun adventures with you all. You were the joy of her life!
It is with deep regret that I will be unable to share in the celebration of Jackie’s life but I will be there in spirit.
God be with you and heal our broken hearts as mine, too, has shattered.
With love and sympathy,
Boots Thomas Atkinson

We didn't really get to know Jackie until later in her life but the time we did spend with her was beautiful, fun, and vibrant. She was quick with a hug, a kiss, a smile and always had that look. The cat that ate the canary. Her humor was quick, quiet, and poignant. She filled our cups and our hearts. We will miss you dearly. God speed our dear friend.
