Jackson Lee Jennell passed December 13, 2021 at Atrium Mercy Hospital in Charlotte, NC. He was born August 26, 1932 in Radford, VA, the son of Carrie Hall and Ernest Jennell, brother Tommy Jennell and sister Betty Joe.
Jackson attended Beavercreek High School in VA. and then served in the United
States Marine Corp. at Camp LeJeune, NC during the Korean Conflict from 1950 ~1954.
Jackson came to Charlotte, NC and met the love of his life, Oneal and they married and settled in Charlotte. They celebrated 65 years of marriage in August.
After a successful career of more than 35 years as a businessman in the automotive industry, Jackson retired and enjoyed spending quality time with his beloved wife, Oneal.
Jackson is survived by his beloved wife Oneal E. Rushing of Mint Hill, NC; son Jeffrey Lee Jennell; daughters Pamela (Raymond) Barbone and Christine Jones Howell; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
