James Pearson Eury Jr.

He was predeceased by his parents James and Myrtle Eury, his daughter Paula Eury, and siblings, Gladys Caldwell, Nancy McGuiness, Marie Powers, and Ted Eury.

Jim leaves behind his wife Virginia Eury, his son Eddie, daughters Sandra Payson and Jennie Elliott and siblings Margie Rogers and Larry Eury. His legacy extends to grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews whose lives will forever be influenced by his humor and stories.

Since 1978, Jim was a proud member of the Moose Lodge. He found purpose with the organization but his passion for tinkering and fixing things was legendary; there was nothing he couldn't fix. Jim's hands were always ready to help where he could.

Jim's wit and humor set him apart. He was the life of family gatherings, always ready with a joke or story to share. He was an avid nascar fan and music lover. He found joy in simple things, whether it was the thrill of the race or the soothing sounds of his favorite tunes.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Jim's life on June 24th, 2026 at 11:00AM, at Charlotte Memorial Gardens, located at 7632 Hood Road.
