James Dean Hahn
February 22, 1931 – August 24, 2018
James Dean Hahn, 87, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, August 24th. He is survived by his wife, 3 children, and 4 grandchildren.
He was born on February 22, 1931 in Korea and served as an English translator during the Korean War. After receiving a BS degree in law at SungKyunKwan University, he immigrated to the US and also studied at Kent State University.
He was an adventurous entrepreneur and successfully maintained his own accounting business until retirement a few years ago. He was an avid golfer and loved singing in the church choir. His legacy will be remembered by his self-sacrificing generous spirit. He served as chairman of the N.C. Korean Association, an elder at his church, and anyone that needed his assistance.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, 9/1 at Wilson Funeral Home at 11am. Interment will follow at Sharon Memorial Park. Notes of encouragement can be made to the family by visiting www.wilsonfuneralservices.com.
