Mr. James Reed Moss

Jimmy Moss, 63, of Charlotte passed away April 19, 2016. Born on October 8, 1952 to Jim and George Anna Moss. He attended West Mecklenburg High School. He was a true craftsman and artist at his work as a drywall contractor. Jimmy was preceded in death by his mother and his longtime companion Olivia Sigmon. Jimmy is survived by his son Shane Bradshaw of Charlotte, daughter Jessica Tarlton of Charlotte and 3 grandchildren. He is also survived by his father, his 5 brothers: Dana (Tammy) of Charlotte, Dyrone Derek (Sherry) of Garland, TX, Russell of Fort Mill, SC, George of Charlotte and Jon of Grand Prairie, TX. Jimmy loved animals and would appreciate any donations be made to the Humane Society of Charlotte or Spay-Neuter Charlotte. The family will also welcome any flowers that are sent in remembrance of Jimmy. Please send flowers to Forest Lawn West Funeral & Cremation Service at 4601 Freedom Dr. Charlotte, NC 28208. A service to celebrate his life will be held at Forest Lawn West on Monday, April 25th at 2pm. The family will be receiving guests immediately following the service in the banquet room for refreshments.
