“Larry”

Mr. NeeSmith, age 65, of Charlotte passed away peacefully Friday, May 13, 2011 for his heavenly home.

He was born on March 20, 1946 in Lyons, Georgia the son of the late Hurdry Alexander NeeSmith and Doreen NeeSmith.

Mr. NeeSmith left a legacy of love, one that will be cherished by his family. He was a devoted and dedicated family man, a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. Larry never met a stranger, easily making acquaintances where ever he was in his walk of life.

He owned and operated N&N Mechanical in Charlotte.

Surviving are his loving wife of 38 years, Dottie NeeSmith; Daughters, Carolyn McKinney (Eddie), Victoria Banker (Stephen), Lorrie Moag (Eric), and Jacqueline Desselle; sons, James Jones NeeSmith and Matthews Jones (Jamie); 14 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; sister, Doris Carolyn Braddy (Bobby); brothers, Kenneth Doyle NeeSmith (Beverly)and Billy Jack NeeSmith ( Cynthia); and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM Sunday, May 15, 2011 at McEwen Funeral Service at Sharon, 5716 Monroe Road, Charlotte, NC 28212.

Interment will follow at a later date at Harden Chapel Cemetery in Vidalia, Georgia.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 E. 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016.
