Jimbo served in the US Army in Vietnam, and upon returning home worked for the City of Charlotte in their Utility Department.
He was preceded in death by his parents William and Betty Rogers, and a brother Tommy Rogers.
Jimbo is survived by his wife Susan, sister Ann Stovall, brother Ronald “Bay” Rogers, and sister-in-law Sherry Rogers. Also, by nephews Andy Rogers, Brian Rogers, Kyle Stovall, and niece Maggie Morgan.
A visitation will be Monday, November 27, 2017 at 12 noon at McEwen – Pineville Chapel, 10500 Park Rd., Charlotte, NC 28210. A graveside service will follow at 1 pm at Crown Memorial Park Cemetery, Pineville, NC.
