Jim was a Department Manager for McCrory’s Department Store, and after retirement went to work for Michael’s craft store. He will be remembered by all to be a man of his faith, and being a great mentor to friends and family alike.
Jim is preceded in death by his loving wife Betty Jo, whom he married in 1968. He is survived by his daughters Pat Gutierrez, Pam Kearns, and Jan Judd; sisters Lucille Eckard of Orange Park, FL, Charlene Puttman of Houston, TX, and Betty Younts of Mt. Jullian, TN; many nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
Visitation will take place at McEwen Funeral Service, 5716 Monroe Road, Charlotte
on Saturday, November 19, 2016 beginning at 12:00pm. Funeral Service will follow at 1:00pm. Interment will take place at Sharon Memorial Park.
