She was born October 8, 1931, in Jersey City, NJ, the daughter of Alvin and Margaret Ruefer.
A retired New Jersey teacher, Janet was an avid bridge player and greatly enjoyed the fellowship of many friends. Her vivacious personality and positive outlook on life influenced all who knew and loved her.
She relished travel and experiencing different cultures, including living for a time in Venezuela. Possessing a deep reliance on God, Janet lived a life of discipleship and was most certainly a good and faithful servant.
