Jean worked for 20+ years for Ivey’s in downtown Charlotte. After that, she spent many years with her husband traveling and selling at various flea markets. Jean was full of life, loved to shop, travel and spend time with family until she became very content to stay at home over the last 10 years. She loved her game show channel and you could always trust when you went over there, she was watching it or reading an autobiography of someone special. And she became an avid Carolina Panther fan, at the age of 84, always making sure to watch them on TV. Her last game to watch was a great game and she was thoroughly excited about the shutout against Detroit.
Jean was a member of Hoskins Baptist Church in Charlotte, NC where she raised both her children.
