Jeannette Brigman

Jeannette Sears Brigman, 87, of Matthews, NC went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 12, 2015.She was born into the family of the late Arvie and Mamie Sears of Gloucester, Virginia. A service to honor her life will be held at Three O’clock p.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at McEwen Funeral Home 5716 Monroe Road, Charlotte, NC 28212, Ken Lowery officiating. The family will receive visitors between Two O’clock and Three O’clock p.m. Jeannette will be laid to rest at Sharon Memorial Park following the service. Mrs. Brigman was a member of Garr Memorial Church for over 30 years where she was also a preschool teacher. Jeannette was preceded in death by her husband Monroe of 62 years along with two brothers and five sisters. She leaves behind, one son: Donald Monroe Brigman; and three daughters: Linda Kirkland (Dwain), Patricia Wood (Frank) and Debora Haywood. Jeannette was indeed proud of her 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Her family and friends will miss her deeply.
