A graduate of West Mecklenburg High School, Jeff had a long standing career as a manufacturer sales rep. He received numerous awards during his career.
Jeff enjoyed hunting, boating, fishing, cooking, golf, NASCAR, spending time at the beach and meeting new people. He never met a stranger that he didn't befriend.
Survivors include his daughter, Monica (Aaron) Beaver; his father, Melton Dotson; sister, Susan (Dwight) Nealey; brother, Mike (Tina) Dotson; nieces, Amanda Allison and Kiana Dotson; nephew, Andrew (Brittany) Moritz; along with numerous relatives and friends.
In addition to his mother, Jeff was predeceased by his brother, Steven Dotson and his former wife, Debra Bryant.
A visitation for Jeff will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025 from 9:00 AM until the time of his funeral service at 10:00 AM in the chapel of McEwen Funerals & Cremations at Forest Lawn West, 4601 Freedom Drive, Charlotte, NC.
