Jeffrey Alan Gooley (64) passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 6, 2022 at his home in Charlotte, NC.
He was the second son born to John and Joan Robbin Gooley on September 21, 1957 in Greenwich, CT, Jeffrey was educated in the Greenwich school system and graduated from UNC Charlotte with a degree in business. He worked for and retired from Automated Data Processing as an IT specialist.
Jeffrey enjoyed nature most especially the ocean, adult toys such as motor cycles, electric scooters and bikes, gadgets and computers.
He is survived by his beloved husband Paul Carpenter of Charlotte; treasured mother Joan of Boynton Beach, FL; older brother John of California and younger brother Jay of Rock Hill, SC.
Jeff was most admired by his courage in adversity, loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed by family and friends.
